铝合金电镀知识详解的铝合金前处理

2.1 铝合金基材
铝合金成型方法很多，目前大多是压铸和挤压成型;压铸的铝合金，多数为铝硅合金，由于铝跟硅的熔点、比重以及凝固点的不一致(铝的原子量26.98，硅的原子量28.09)，在铝硅合金压铸过程当中容易造成偏折现象，产生富铝富硅态，这在大的平面压铸件表现更为突出，造成电镀处理的更加困难;金属铝的化学性质比较活泼，与氧的亲合力较强，在大气中极易在其表面生成一层氧化膜，甚至此氧化膜刚除去又会迅速重新生成新的氧化膜，严重影响镀层与基体铝的结合力;铝的电极电位较负，约(-1.67v)，很易失去电子，在电解液中能与多种金属离子立即发生置换反应，形成接触层，此种镀层疏松粗糙，严重影响镀层结合力;铝的膨胀系统比许多金属镀层大，当温度差别变化大时，由于基体与镀层的膨胀系数不一致，易产生内应力而破坏镀层;铸铝件有砂眼、铸孔、气泡等，电镀中易残留槽液和氢气，引起化学和电化学腐蚀，产生镀层起泡和脱落。
目前各厂家用于压铸的铝合金牌号杂乱，其它金属杂质和硅含量都不一样，造成后道电镀处理的难上加难。
铝合金电镀术语：
内容：1 电镀常识
表面处理的基本过程大致分为三个阶段：前处理，中间处理和后处理。
1.1前处理
零件在处理之前，程度不同地存在着毛刺和油污，有的严重腐蚀，给中间处理带来很大困难，给化学或电化学过程增加额外阻力，有时甚至使零件局部或整个表面不能获得镀层或膜层，还会污染电解液，影响表面处理层的质量。包括除油、浸蚀，磨光、抛光、滚光、吹砂、局部保护、装挂、加辅助电极等。
1.2 中间处理
是赋予零件各种预期性能的主要阶段，是表面处理的核心，表面处理质量的好坏主要取决于这一阶段的处理。
1.3 后处理
是对膜层和镀层的辅助处理。
2 电镀过程中的基本术语
2.1 分散能力
在特定条件下，一定溶液使电极(通常是阴极)镀层分布比初次电流分布所获得的结果更为均匀的能力。亦称均镀能力。
2.2 覆盖能力
镀液在特定条件下凹槽或深孔处沉积金属的能力。亦称深镀能力。
2.3 阳极
能够接受反应物所给出电子的电极，即发生氧化反应的电极。
2.4 不溶性阳极
在电流通过时，不发生阳极溶解反应的电极。
2.5 阴极
反应于其上获得电子的电极，即发生还原反应的电极。
2.6 电流密度
单位面积电极上通过的电流强度，通常以 A/dm2 表示。
2.7 电流密度范围
能获得合格镀层的电流密度区间。
2.8 电流效率
电极上通过单位电量时，其一反应形成之产物的实际重量与其电化当量之比，通常以百分数表示。
2.9 阴极性镀层
电极电位的代数值比基体金属大的金属镀层。
2.10 阳极性镀层
电极电位的代数值比基体金属小的金属镀层。
2.11 阳极泥
在电流作用下阳极溶解后的残留物。
2.12 沉积速度
单位时间内零件表面沉积出金属的厚度。
2.13 初次电流分布
在电极极化不存在时，电流在电极表面上的分布。
2.14 活化
使金属表面钝化状态消失的作用。
2.15 钝化
在一定环境下使金属表面正常溶解反应受到严重阻碍，并在比较宽的电极电位范围内使金属溶解反应速度降到很低的作用。
2.16 氢脆
由于浸蚀，除油或电镀等过程中金属或合金吸收氢原子而引起的脆性。
2.17 PH 值
氢离子活度 aH+ 的常用对数的负值。
2.18 基体材料
能在其上沉积金属或形成膜层的材料。
2.19 辅助阴极
为了消除被镀制件上某些部位由于电力线过于集中而出现的毛刺和烧焦等毛病，在该部位附近另加某种形状的阴极，用以消耗部分电流，这种附加的阴极就是辅助阴极。
2.20 辅助阳极
除了在电镀中正常需用的阳极以外，为了改善被镀制件表面上的电流分布而使用的辅加阳极。
2.21 电解
使电流通过电解质溶液而在阳极，阴极引起氧化还原反应的过程。
2.22 极化
当电流通过电极时，电极电位发生偏离平衡电位的现象。
2.23 皂化反应
油脂在碱性条件下的水解反应。
2.24 阴极极化
直流电通过电极时，阴极电位偏离平衡电位向负的方向移动的现象。
2.25 槽电压
电解时，电解槽两极之间的总电位差。
