  水表是一种普遍使用的计量设备,用于监测自来水、污水、工业废水、汽车冷却水等管道输送中的流量。水表外壳是水表的主要结构部件,可以把水表分为两大类:一类是全封闭式水表,其外壳中有密封胶密封,不会引起水雾腐蚀,而结构简单,成本较低,适用于普通自来水管道监测;另一类是半封闭式水表,其外壳需要配合工业气体进行加压封闭,适用于监测含有颗粒、水雾、有害气体的工业废水、污水、汽车冷却水等管道。

  无论是全封闭式水表还是半封闭式水表的外壳,其材料都可以根据水质的不同而选择,一般来说,如果水质较差,外壳材料应该选择钢板,如果水质较好,外壳材料应该选择不锈钢。半封闭式水表外壳的典型材料是钢板加工成的,而其制造工艺也比较简单。但是半封闭式水表外壳需要进行压力封闭,否则水雾和气体会导致内部部件的腐蚀,使水表的使用寿命大大缩短。

  对于水表外壳加工工艺,根据水表的不同类型和使用要求,可以采用不同的工艺方法,进行水表外壳的加工。如果要制造一个全封闭式水表外壳,可以采用钣金加工、冲压加工等方法;如果要制造一个半封闭式水表外壳,可以采用锻造或锻压加工方法;如果要制造一个普通水表外壳,则可以采用注塑或铸造加工方法。

  For water meter shell processing technology, according to the different types of water meters and use requirements, different processing methods can be used for water meter shell processing. If you want to manufacture a fully sealed water meter shell, you can use sheet metal processing, stamping processing, etc.; if you want to manufacture a semi-closed water meter shell, you can use forging or forging processing; if you want to manufacture an ordinary water meter shell, you can use injection molding or casting processing.

  The most widely used processing method for water meter housings on the market is sheet metal processing. Sheet metal processing is also called stamping processing, which is a processing method that uses press or other machine tools to press the surface of the workpiece into the required shape. Sheet metal processing has the advantages of low cost, fast speed and simple process compared with other processing methods. Generally speaking, the cost of manufacturing water meter housings by sheet metal processing is about half of that of other processing methods.
